Nybygget in the village Skir is owned by us; Åsa and Sven-Göran Erdtman. The farm includes a two-family house where we live at the ground floor and the upper floor is rented by another family. We have also built a few more houses which are rented by several families. All together 18 persons live at our farm.
We produce carrots, onions, potatoes, cucumbers and tomatoes for our own household. During your stay here you can buy the vegetables of the season. We also have blueberry bushes and everyone can take a bucket and pick as many buckets as you want for a small price.
Except for a dog and a couple of cats we also have a horse, sheep, rabbits and fowls on the farm. Furthermore we sell freshly laid eggs.
Every Wednesday- and Saturday night the sauna is warm and everyone on the farm is welcome to take a bath. First the ladies followed by the gentlemen.
In the surrounding area there are beautiful walking paths and approximately 500 to 600 metres from the farm lay our small lakes. Take a stroll and enjoy the flower plantations, the waterfalls and wood sculptures. You can also visit our black swans, wood ducks and see ducks which live in their own pond. If you’re up for swimming, the beautiful lake Barnsjön is situated only three kilometers from the farm.
